Some of the treatment procedures that we apply include:
Inlays and Onlays
They can also be referred to as indirect fillings. These are prepared in the laboratory, and they are suitable where there is tooth decay or where the tooth structure cannot support filing. Inlays are used where the cap is not damaged by applying it directly to the tooth. However, if the cap is destroyed, we use Onlays to cover the entire surface of the tooth.
This is another standard and best way to enhance a smile. It is a procedure performed in the dentist's office when the teeth have plague or tartar. It works by cleaning and removing this debris from teeth thus restoring its original appearance or even making the teeth whiter than they were initially. The dental treatment can also be referred to as teeth bleaching.
It is a treatment that deals with the repair of damaged, discolored or decayed teeth. We apply a material that looks just like the tooth enamel. The dentist will drill out or remove the tooth decay and fills the surface with composite and designs it to the right shape to look exactly like the rest of the teeth. The treatment efficiently covers the damaged tooth to give it the appearance of a healthy tooth and also, it is one of the least expensive dental cosmetic procedures.
Porcelain veneers are thin layers of porcelain fixed onto teeth to enhance appearance, and in some cases, to protect the teeth. Veneers allow many patients to achieve a dramatic smile makeover without highly invasive treatments. The results are also durable, lasting 10-30 years.
Veneers typically require 2-3 appointments. The first is a consultation to determine the desired look, and plan the shape of the veneers to achieve it.
During the second visit, the tooth surfaces will be prepared, by removing a very thin layer of enamel, and taking impressions of the teeth. Using these impressions, veneers are fabricated to fit onto the surfaces, either on-site, or at a lab facility.
On the third visit, the dentist will apply a cleaning solution to prepare the tooth surfaces for bonding, and the permanent veneers will be cemented.
Dental implants are used where there has been a lost tooth. The implants resemble the natural teeth, and once they fuse with the bone, they are secured permanently to replace the missing tooth, and it is hard to distinguish them from the rest of the surrounding teeth. If one wishes to have a tooth implant, it is advisable that one observes oral hygiene to clean up the area and remove any plague.
